Energy Healing Sessions
One-on-one work with Tony, drawing on Reiki, Medical Qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Daoist philosophy to help your body release, replenish and rebalance.
What is an energy session, really?
Tony describes the body's energy — what Traditional Chinese Medicine calls Qi — as something that flows the way a river does. When life is kind, it moves freely. But grief, stress, illness, and the ordinary weight of being alive can leave stretches of that river dammed up, stagnant, or run dry.
An energy session is Tony's attempt to help that river move again: to find where it's stuck, help it release, bring in fresh energy where it's depleted, and leave you more in balance than you arrived.
Why people come in
There's no single reason. People arrive feeling stuck, anxious, angry, or emotionally burdened. Others feel drained, run down, or simply not like themselves — carrying the residue of a difficult season, a loss, or a stretch of chronic stress that hasn't let up.
Whatever brought you in, the first part of a session is the same: Tony sits with you, listens to how you feel, and asks how you'd like to feel instead.
You're the boss of this session.
Before anything begins, Tony walks you through what the session will involve.
Three broad stages — release, replenish, balance.
Every person is different, and Tony scans your energy and works according to what he perceives you need that day. Even for the same person, one visit to the next can look and feel different. But the work generally moves through three stages:
Release
Purging old or stuck energy — the residue of experiences your body has been holding onto, sometimes for a long time.
Replenish
Bringing in fresh energy to fill what's been depleted by stress, illness, grief, or simply running on empty for too long.
Balance
Settling everything back into a steadier equilibrium — so you leave more evenly resourced than when you arrived.
What happens in a session
Tony explains, in his own words, what to expect the first time you come in — what he's sensing for, what he's listening for, and what a typical hour actually looks like.
You don't need to make anything happen.
It's not unusual to become so deeply relaxed during a session that you drift somewhere between awake and asleep. Some people even fall asleep briefly — that's perfectly fine.
Your body knows what it needs. Our job is to just get out of our own way and let it happen. :)
You don't need to feel tingling, see colours, have an emotional release, or experience anything dramatic for a session to be worthwhile. You can simply relax and let it unfold.
What you might experience
Some people do notice more than deep relaxation. Everyone's experience is different, and people have reported:
- A feeling of lightness, as if some weight has lifted
- Breathing that feels easier and fuller
- Emotional release — sometimes laughter, sometimes tears
- Muscle relaxation, or occasional twitching as tension lets go
- Other physical sensations that are hard to put into words
After your session
Afterward, Tony talks with you about what came up. Depending on what would help, he may teach you a simple Qigong practice or another small self-care tool you can use at home.
That part matters to him: the goal is for you to participate in your own well-being, not to become dependent on him. Daoist philosophy runs through how he works — often helping people see their own lives from a different angle, and recognize the resources they already have inside them.
You are lovable. You are worthy. You are enough.
I believe everyone should be able to experience energy work if they feel they need it.
I have set rates for my sessions, but if the cost is genuinely beyond what you can afford, please let me know. You can pay what you are able to afford.
I have a clinic and expenses to pay too, so I can only offer this for as long as I am able to. But helping people matters deeply to me, and I don’t want money to be the reason someone who really needs my help is afraid to reach out.
This applies to both my in-person and online energy sessions.
You are important.
— Tony
